The UltraWave LRT software was designed specifically to simplify and optimize the real-world guided wave pipe inspection process and is compatible with piezoelectric and magnetostrictive long-range pipe inspection collars. The user-friendly software provides a step-by-step wizard for carrying out an inspection job and manages tasks from job creation, to pipe description, to data collection and management. An interactive tree control organizes the entire inspection job database. Enhanced flaw evaluation is possible with the active and synthetic focusing routines to characterize the circumferential extent and location of flaws and pipe features. A full suite of analysis tools including distance amplitude correction (DAC) curves and reflector annotations can be used for a detailed analysis. Report generation algorithms automatically compile all of the necessary inspection data into a single, easily-modified Microsoft Word document.
